Traditional Balinese Food : LAWAR
People loves to eat, who doesn't eh? "jk*
Based on my previous writing about Bali, i will now sharing about traditional balinese Food called Lawar.
What is LAWAR? Any of u think about bat or 'kelelawar' ?hehehe..it's far enough from that animal. Basically Lawar is a traditional Balinese cuisine that include vegetables filled with minced meat mixed with spices. Meat that usually use is pork, chicken, or beef. Served with rice or eat by its self.

Nowadays many type of Lawar had been made. There are Lawar merah, Lawar isi, Lawar Putih, etc. It's called Lawar Merah because it colour is red..mixed with blood ( chicken usually ), while Lawar Putih is opposite of Lawar Merah, it contains no blood. Lawar Isi means there's just contains with meat only and not mixed with any vegetables.
If you're a vegetarian and didn't eat meat there's also Lawar Pepaya that you might tried.
Enjoy!
