Under the Shade

Lately I've been really fall in love into jumpsuit. Why's that? Because you know when you're confusing for what to wear you just jump into your jumpsuit and voila! You already dressed up in one single piece of cloth.

So I've several kind of jumpsuit but my favorite is this turtle neck knitted grey jumpsuit by Stradivarius. The material is very stretchy and flexible enough with your body shape. The length is also fell on top of your ankle and make your legs looks longer.

Paired it with long knitted cardigan in black and Mary Jane heels in black for my completed look. Try it, maybe you'll fall in love too like me!

So here's some pictures of my grey jumpsuit.

Last week I attended Indonesia's Annual Bazaar Bridal Week 2016 at Ritz Carlton, Pacific Place. This event last for 3 days, from Friday to Sunday, featuring some of the best Indonesian designers. They showed off their bridal collection.

One of my favorite designer, Imelda Kartini, closed the event with a spectacular fashion show, themed Silent Poetry, inspired by the poetry from Victorian era. This fashion show was supported by many vendors; Magnificent Decoration by Lotus, Flawless Make Up and Hairdo by Donny Liem, Awesome Accessories by Morphacio Body Art, and Gorgeous Shoes by Rina Thang

Every piece was designed heart fully; the chosen fabric, silhouette, and unique details will took our breath away. Here are some pictures of her collection. I hope you will be amazed like I did!

My Wedding Journey Part II : Catering and Decoration

Continue from my previous post about my wedding journey and what to prepare for your wedding day, I want to share about how I picking Catering and Decoration vendor.

After picking your venue, of course you have to search for decoration vendor. Just like before, because I'm in charge of my wedding preparation it self (I'm not using wedding planner for this case, but you can if you want), so it's me and Reza's duty to looking around decoration vendor. Actually we're quite overwhelm to search all of this item just two of us. But since we want to make sure every details of them, so we had to continue and keep moving on.

Talking about decoration, it best when you find the vendor who had done wedding decoration in your chosen place before. Why is that? Because they already had an experience with the location and they can offer or suggest you the decoration as it's best.

After strolling around to couple vendors, finally my choice fell on Lily Vicky Decoration. They known Plaza Bapindo so well that gave me confidence to entrust them decor my wedding day.
I decided to use Garden theme for my wedding with combine green, pink, and purple colors.

For wedding gate and standing flower, we using more branches with cherry blossom flowers combining with street lamp standing flower. For the  there's many lightning tree with bird cage, bench, and fence too make garden theme more real.

Tips. Try to using various spotlight colors because it will enliven the atmosphere. Try to cover your front gate or front desk with fabric to create a full hallway dimension.

The other most important things on your wedding day is catering. One of key succeed of your wedding  is determine by the food you choose and how much food you ordered will be enough for all guests. You will served food in two kind of ways, buffet and stall. For most people it's taboo if your buffet is empty or not enough to fed the last guest attended. But if your stall food is empty somehow they think is common. So try to precisely count how many guests you invited before determine how many food you ordered.

A good caterer will know how many food (include cakes and pastry) they have to suggest to you at the moment you told them how many invitation you distributed (including proportion of youth and the older ones). They have their own calculation to make sure your buffet won't get empty until the last guest standing.

First thing you have to do before choosing your Catering vendor is to continuously trying their food in every wedding exhibition. Try to check their consistency of taste and preparation as well.

After taste couple of Catering vendor in every wedding exhibition, I entrust Chez Ingrid to handle my wedding catering. Chez Ingrid is one of Plaza Bapindo engage catering vendor at that time.

Tips. Just like I told you before, some of venue have their own engage vendor including to catering, so make sure to pick your catering vendor align to your venue list.
