So Fashion Cafe Jakarta

Couple weeks ago, we found a pink themed cafe in Mal Taman Anggrek, West Jakarta. Located at 2nd floor, this cafe is very noticeable because you can see the pink wall in front and a cute pink vending machine.

Beside this pink cafe, there are So Hot Stone Hotpot cafe that actually also one group with So Fashion Cafe. Actually at first we went into the So Hot Stone Hotpot which design with white-blue modern theme. So Hot Stone Hotpot cafe served shabu-shabu, but since we are not into it, we decided to move to So Fashion Cafe instead. As far as I know, they both originated from Taiwan and this is their first opened cafe in Indonesia. This feed will be dominated in pink as you scroll through the entire post.

As we scrolling the menu, this cafe mostly served western light food and dessert; such as pasta, panini, smoothies, and waffle.  For beverages, they had juice, tea, coffee, smoothies, blends, and beer.

We ordered Passion Olio Prawn and Korean Hotpot. They used angel hair pasta and cook it perfectly with prawn and cheese toppings. The prawn are great, but for the cheese was not taste good so I did not eat it. 

The Korean Hotpot itself, taste a bit spicy; combination of noodle and full of fish cake, sausage, kimchi, veggies, and cheese. Perfect match for each other, but on this case, the cheese is nice and good.

For dessert, we ordered banana and chocolate ice cream waffle. I love the texture of the waffle, the sauce and also the peanuts crumbs there. Eye pleasing serving with good taste. 

One thing to know is that usually thematic cafes will emphasise on the decoration and food presentation more than the taste of their food. But not for So Fashion. They managed to combine great restaurant with good food, which make its worth to be visited by food lovers as well as insta-celeb.

As for beverages, we tried Berry Lemon Refresher (flying beer), coniccollo (coffee inside a cone), and cotton candy milk coffee. Despited the good flavor beverages, they served it with super aesthetic and instagenic.

Overall we enjoyed our time here, good food and good ambiance too. The design and the theme is so pretty and make this cafe a perfect OOTD-spot as well. Every corner is dominated with pink. They even paying attention to every details like pink flamingo, pink cups, table decoration, and not forget the pink vending machine. The staffs are also super friendly and very helpful when we asking about the menu. Price-wise, as a cafe inside mall the price is affordable compare to the portion we get.

If you are a pink lovers, you must come here and experience it by yourself. Perhaps you should considered avoiding lunch or dinner time for less crowded.
