Nowadays, many new restaurants and cafes are open in Jakarta. Most of them come with super cool interior design that makes people not only enjoy the food but also the vibes and ambiance. It also give some people opportunity doing the OOTD style inside the restaurant. The concept is to collaborate between food and art.
After trying several restaurant, we compile and summary the list of 8 instagram-able cafe in Jakarta. Maybe you can spend this weekend and take some photos there while enjoying your food.
1. Take A Bite
Take a Bite is a newly opened cafe with heavy "Harry Potter" theme located in Pluit, North Jakarta, just around Pluit Village north Exit. The Cafe feature famous 9 3/4 platform which is the main photo spot. The dining area is set just like Hogwarts Dining Hall, while the perimeter is set like London's Shoppe Street.
As for the food, if you expect delicious food, you might be disappointed. The menu is mainly indomie and rice bowl, however the F&B price is relatively cheaper than its kind. One thing to try is their Butter-beer. However when we came here, it is already sold out.
Our tips to visit the area is to come for early lunch, as the parking space is limited.

2. Onni House
Combining the concept of flower house, market place, and cafe make Onni one of the most instagrammable cafe in West Jakarta. Their parking space is quite plenty, but expect a waiting list for dining hours.
On the upside, there are many photo spots for you while waiting for seat. But the downside, sometimes, the waiting list is too crowded, so many people will stand in the way of your photo shoot. We recommend to use wider lens to shorten the gap between you and the camera.
For the food, you should opt for western food like pastas, since we thought that it was better than their Indonesian food.
If you plan to come here on weekend, you should check before as they start to do some workshops on some Saturdays. That way you do not come empty handed.

3. The Garden
Sydney vibes in Jakarta is the ambiance that you will feel once you stepped inside The Garden. The Interior is created by Einstein & Associates, the one who designed Bottega Ristorante, Willshire, and Lemongrass, it makes other cafes in PIK looks typical.
The food is quite good. Some of our food blogger friends recommend the crispy duck here, which is unfortunately sold out one hour after it's open when we came.
If you want to come here, come at 11 a.m. since they don't receive reservation and they have long waiting lines every weekend. Even their first expansion to the shop is the queue facilities.
The Garden

Open : 11.00 AM - 2.00 AM4. Kanpai
Just beside the Garden, you will find a unique Japanese cafe. The restaurant feature iconic Orange Torii gate designed as a tunnel stairs to the second floor. The neon light also make a resemblance of Osaka's Glico Man Replica, unless it is a Raccoon Running Man. The restaurant seems to be raccoon theme as you can see many raccoon pictures on its menus and decoration.
As for the food is a standard Japanese Food like sushis, ramens, etc. Not too delicious but not bad either.
While it is not as crowded as the garden, the place is quite small. It also a little bit dark. So you should bring higher apperture lens or a stabilizer to prevent your pictures to be grainy or blurry.

Two Words to describe the Cafe : Pink alert!. This is a pink themed cafe located in Mall Taman Anggrek. If you used to visit MTA before, it is located on 1st Floor on what used to be McDonald's.
This restaurant featured western light food such as waffles and pastas and several range of instragramable beverages. This place is quite small though, but you can wait by exploring the mall (which currently is undergoing some refreshment renovation).
So Fashion also have a brother store which is blue themed and mainly sell hotpot which is located adjacent to the cafe, actually it is connected.

6. Dailycious
If you bored with Inner City exploring and want to search Serpong Area, you can try Dailycious. It has Minimalist interior with Scandinavian Type Furniture. The color theme are Pretty pastel on the first floor and wooden themed on the second floor.

As the name, the place have big Red Door. However you cannot directly see the door from the road as the entrance is facing the side.
You can find many good photo-spots in the cafe. As for F&B, we cannot say much because when we came here, although it is interesting, most menu is unavailable. Maybe it was because we came when it's still on soft opening mode.

We came here, while waiting for some meeting in the area. Hours is located not on main area of F&B in Kelapa Gading area, so we think they mainly serve the locals who do morning coffee and meeting.
However, the interior is beautiful, simple, and feels spacious. This is a perfect place to take some great pictures uninterrupted.
As for foods, they served breakfast menu (maybe because we came early morning) and good coffee.
