After took the train from Osaka to Kyoto, we arrived at the Rental store, going upstairs to pick my Kimono. They have many selection of Kimono. After I picked mine, they helped me to wear my Kimono and yeah it's so difficult I think. I'm like wearing several layers of fabrics before finally wearing the Outer Kimono itself. They also provide hair do service but make up service is not provide, so I recommend to do the make up first before coming here.
Am strolling around Arashiyama bamboo Forest
I do love the hair do and the Red color of course
Hubby took this pic, very proud of it, and insist to make it canvas size to put at home
Loving my sakura theme nails art tho
At Tenryu-ji
Kimono and Sakura, perfectly match except the Sakura hasn't full bloom yet
Hubby took this while I'm capturing this view at Instastory
Back details
Found a ryokan and took picture at the door
Kimono Forest at noon
Even though the weather was little bit cold and windy (around 10 degree) I still felt warm in the Kimono, and surprisingly the slippers was also very comfortable at all.
I paid 3.132 yen/day per kimono for an all-inclusive set of undershirt, tabi-socks, obi, hair ornaments, handbag, and other accessories. Hair was done with separate charges.
It was an experience like no other and I would LOVE to do it again. Except that going to the bathroom was a littttlllleeee troublesome.
