This Holiday, I had a chance to try this new establishment cafe in West Jakarta; Onni House. Onni already have flower shops in Jakarta area; at Grand Indonesia, Plaza Senayan, Pondok Indah Mall and now in Tanjung Duren, they open the flower shop with home-living goods and restaurant.
Onni is located in residential neighbourhood just behind the busy Tanjung Duren street. They renovated the building so it has American countryside architecture. Upon entering the building, I was greeted with many colourful flowers arranged in shelves, Home and Living goods as well as old leather briefcases which match the exterior looks. A very warm atmosphere in here and suddenly I fell in love with this cafe.
They fully decorated this place into a super homey cafe that makes you feel like home. Every corner become an instagrammable spot for taking pictures. When going further inside, there are flowers kept chilled in refrigerator. The clerk also have special place to look after the flowers and a shelves filled with terrarium. Additionally they also sell the terrarium materials for us to make it ourselves. Maybe someday I will make one myself.
Lastly the deepest part of the building is restaurant. The restaurant has homy aura which is make us relaxing to eat in here. As for the menu, mainly they served Indonesian fusion food. The food here is surprisingly quite tasty and have reasonable price.
Actually I want to order the Rendang Fried Rice, but unfortunately the Rendang is not ready yet, so I order this Garlic Noodle with Dory Sambal Matah instead. The noodle which aglio olio spagethi cook nice, also the dory. But unfortunately I didn't taste the spiciness of sambal matah as I expected.

Another menu I order is one of their signature dish, Beef Bulgogi Rice. I like the thin sliced beef bulgogi, it was so tender also tasty. The poach egg and Japanese fried rice also nice, but the sauce I think it's a little bit too sweet for my taste. This one is a good combination though and you might want to try it.

As appetizer I ordered the stuff tofu (tahu isi). Stuff with vegetables and prawn this also taste good for me, the skin was crunchy and crisp. The sambal also become a good companion for this tofu.

Nasi Ayam Bumbu Rujak is one of my favorite. The balance of the 'rujak' was nice and I like how they cooked the tempeh and chicken. Not forget to mention the crackers are so good. But they will charge you IDR 5k for the additional crackers.

I ordered Rose Mojito and Lychee Yakult Lemongrass. Both this beverages are surprisingly very refreshing. My favorite so far is the Lychee Yakult Lemongrass. You can taste and smell a bit of lemongrass without eliminate the lychee and yakult flavour.

My conclusion is with all experience that I have there, Onni will become trending establishment soon (or maybe already?). As there are no or little place like this at least in West Jakarta. If you have not been here, I recommend you to try this place. I liked to call it a hidden gem at Tanjung Duren.
