Stripes and Flowers

Lately stripes become happening this season. Rather in black, it now comes out in blue color. To elevate the plain stripes, many fashion designer attach some patch into the shirt, like flowers, lips, words, etc. Some of them attachable with the shirt some removable.

I found this cute loose blue stripes shirt with flower patch on it from Stradivarius. Combine it with short for lazy weekend. Or maybe white trouser for a casual formal working outfit. One clothes for several occasion. Working attire never been so fascinating nowadays. Here's mine!

Singapore Travel Guide : Best Place to Stay and Visit

After a long hiatus, like almost 2 months not writing in my blog, here my very first blog in 2017. So I want to share my 2016 Christmas experience in Singapore.

Me and my husband suddenly planned to visit Singapore to celebrate our Christmas. We stayed 4 days 3 night there. My last visited in Singapore was 2 years ago and I never get bored to visit this country.

Here's some highlight of my trip there. Much about hotel, food, and place I visited.

Recommended Hotel to stayed :

CARLTON HOTEL, CITY HALL

ST. REGIS HOTEL, TANGLIN

Recommended food I found there :

TONKATSU by MA MAISON, CHIJMES

It's a Japanese French style restaurant located at Chijmes Square. You can choose your favorite Tonkatsu, its chicken, prawn, pork, mackerel, even oyster. Smart choice is combo package, that they already included rice (brown or white), miso soup, tons of salads, and bottomless green tea of course. To be honest this is the best Tonkatsu I've ever taste. The pork tonkatsu was very juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside.

Recommended place and sight seeing :

FUTURE WORLD : Where Art Meets Science, MBS

In Marina Bay, actually there's many exhibition and museum we can enter. One of the is Future World : Where Art Meets Science. Featuring almost 15 digital installation, we were taken into 4 key element in this place : Nature, Town, Park, and Space. It cost SGD 17 for adult for single entry. You can check more and buy the ticket here

S.E.A AQUARIUM, SENTOSA ISLAND

The underworld life is here. Located at Sentosa Island, the most biggest aquarium in Asia with hundred or maybe million of species. You can experience the underwater world in the tunnel of shark seas or maybe see an open ocean aquarium with panoramic marine view. As you run more deep into the sea, you'll face to face with dolphins and jelly fishes. One day sure not enough walking around this underwater world. It cost SGD 35 per person and you can buy the ticket here

CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND, GARDEN BY THE BAY

Because this is Christmas season, there's Christmas Wonderland event in Garden by the Bay. Starting from Dec 2nd, until Jan 1st 2017 from 3.30 -11.00 pm. Many attraction like, Luminaire, Ice Palace, Santa's cottage, etc. At 7.00 the Luminaire gate and light will be shown and there's also dance performance closing with snow bubble rain from above. There's also Festive Market that sell many varieties of food and beverages there. It cost around SGD 6-10 depends on the date of the visit.  Ticket available for sale both online and at the gate. For online ticket you can buy here

NATIONAL GALLERY SINGAPORE

I've been wanting to check out the National Gallery since it's open last November 2015, but time and space just didn't permit me. Finally I have a chance to visit this place when I went back to Singapore for Christmas.  I had even more fun spinning and twirling around the former City Hall and Supreme Court Building. All that colonial architecture and Singapore history are amazed me.
General admission for entering this is SGD 20 for non-singaporean, but lucky for us it's Christmas day so all entry was free for today. You can buy the ticket online here

SUN FLOWER GARDEN, TERMINAL 2 CHANGI

While waiting for your flight at the airport, why don't you take a look at several places Changi offers, such as : Butterfly garden (Terminal 3) or Sunflower Garden (Terminal 2).

That's all, hope you enjoyed and see you on the next post.
